Default "Ableton like" Warp Markers?

Is there a way to grab and stretch a piece of audio to a different point kind of like the Warp in Live?

split the item (key "s" by default), than ALT+drag the split to readjust position.

Try doing video post with vari tempo music,.... I know I would probably go mad
if I had to do it in current Reaper

But on the bright side, most basic aspects are well done and more efficient,
with some great advantages like elastic audio, real-time pitchshifting,
timestretching and resampling, so you can always work from original source,
no matter how you change tempo during the project. Fits my needs very well.

You can also select all of the newly split "hits" and then group them so they act as one item again and still be able to adjust the splits within it.

Just make sure you right click the group icon on the tool bar and have both group options enabled.

Also if you group items like multiple drum hits over several tracks then you can have it so as you adjust say the bass drum's start position any other hits you pass on other tracks (say a hi hat) will also get "picked up" and lock to the currently adjusting bdrum
