Alex Hutchings.
I've only just found out about him. I'm gobsmacked as they say in the UK. Wonderful expression.
If you haven't heard him, do a search on Youtube.

The Green Evening Requiem - "Bastards of Atlas"
- a band featuring members of Woe and Woods of Ypres, great progressive and melodic USBM - sort of a combination of Opeth and Agallogh
Their full album is streaming at:

Their new song "Divinations" is really good. Been a fan of theirs for a while now. Candiria was good at first, but I lost track of them after a while.
...listening to "Three Crosses" by "Neck".

But right now... I'm listening to a fresh this-time-CD-quality got-hold-of-it-off-Internet-since-it-is-a-not-released-and-never-will-be-copy of Kevin Shields (of My Bloody Valentine) tune '2' for the La La La Human Steps dance company...
I'm 'Blissed out' as Simon reynolds so well put it.
Bye world, hello inner peace.

Not exactly right now, more like last night (they are not keen on me listening to music in work)
ELO - Eldorado
Don't be put off by the lack of 'cool', this album is stunning, production, orchestration, engineering, songwriting, performance, all stunning, and all this done before the days of DAW !!

Rammstein! Rosenrot album
Right now!!
Godda***t those guys got their mixes right!
(and I guess the mastering, too)
And the sons are in German too... you can sing some things in German that you could never ever ever get away with signing in any other language, that's for sure :-)
EDIT: Why doesn't wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosenrot#Personnel list who engineered, mixed, mastered the album? Anyone knows?

There's no information about the Rosenrot album but there's a list for previous albums. All of them have been produced by Jacob Hellner.
By the way.. They sing a song in Spanish too. Terrible, terrible song. Terrible. The music, the accent, the lame lyrics, the awful female choruses, the phony mariachi-esque trumpets.. Did I mentioned that that song is terrible and I hate it with all my heart?
I hope the new record put them back in track.
