Default Scrolling For The MCP FX/ Params/ Send List...

Is there a separate image for the scroll (up/ down) arrows on the mcp_fxlist_bg?
I've looked hard, but cannot find it. Wondered if I'm missing something.
If not, I assume I must build the scroll arrow/ buttons into the mcp_fxlist_bg image.
But what is the convention for setting the position of the mouse/ touch area of the scroll? In case I want to place the scroll arrows to one side, or something.

I think that they are hard-coded but I did change the colour and behaviour:

That's for the TCP. I'm trying to do this in the MCP. I can't find a way to make scroll bars like that, appear in the mixer. They are just left and right areas at the bottom of each list, that cause it to scroll up and down, clumsily.

True, but it's the same on the MCP:

Okay, I'll look into that. Thanks, DarkStar.

This doesn't exist for me. I typed "scro" (for scroll) in the filter, and it just draws a blank. Is this only applicable in newer versions of Reaper? I am using v5.99.

TCP FX list was added in 6.xx, that's why you don't see it.

Thanks. Makes sense now. But what I'm looking for, is being able to style the up/ down arrows that scroll the FX and parameter lists. And I cannot work out how to do this.

There are no arrows anymore. They're replaced by scrollbars.

Okay, but if I'm using v5.99, then it still shows the arrows. I want to know how to style them.

You can try to find them inside project's archive as images.

EDIT: all right, there are some images containing "arrow", but not sure they're used for this. I guess these can be what you are looking for:
mcp_arrowbuttons_ud.png
mcp_fxlist_arrows.png
mcp_fxparm_arrows.png
mcp_sendlist_arrows.png
tcp_arrowbuttons_lr.png
tcp_arrowbuttons_ud.png
tcp_fxparm_arrows.png
tcp_fxparm_arrows_lr.png

Ah! Thank you, vitalker. This gives me something to go searching for. Maybe there is hope.

I worked it all out in the end. Now I'm satisfied with my arrows. Certain elements default back to certain images, if their images are not provided. Which has taught me to make everything for similar elements, before WALTERING them.
