I'm using the TRK-01 bass plugin in Reaktor 6, but I can't get it to respond to midi volume change messages in my track. It ignores CC7 and velocity messages. Can anyone help me with this?
Maybe start by checking whether the Midi channel of the volume CC7 is correct.
The TRK-01 plugin doesn't seem to have a setting for midi receive channel, but it is responding to the notes (channel 1) so I'm assuming the CC7 is going out over the same channel
I can assign pretty much every control to a CC number, but not the output volume. The only way I've found to regulate the volume is to use track volume automation, which is pretty clunky.
Are you talking about the output volume of the whole plugin? Because the thread title mentions bass volume. Bass channel's output slider IS definitely MIDI learnable.
Just the bass module. When I right click the output level slider on the top right, nothing happens. I can right click anything else on the lower part of the interface, though. i also tried dragging the CC# to the slider but no go.
Anyways, top right is master volume, that is not automatable or learnable. You need to go to MASTER section (bottom of the GUI), and on the right side you will see the Bass module section with a vertical volume slider for just the bass, which IS learnable.
