Notation editor - Menus missing in Piano Roll?

Hi folks,

At the top of the piano-roll editor I do not see the regular drop-downs (which should include the 'view' drop-down to enable the Notation Editor).

Any ideas where the option to enable/disable those drop-downs might be?

Is the editor docked? Menus only appear in the title bar when undocked. You can get the same menu by right-clicking in the timeline header in the piano roll view.

Yep, it was docked but my docker was floating ... causing me to be confused

I had this problem too .. driving me nuts for a few hours .. Seems strange that docking loses access to these menus

The menus are still there, but they are accessed by right-clicking the docker tab, which saves space.
