ReaSamplOmatic5000 not saving sample in project folder
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought ReaSamplOmatic5000 was supposed to save the active sample in the project folder and show it in the project bay. Unfortunately it's not happening and it keeps linking to the original sample.
The "copy imported media to project directory" option is active.
Is this by design or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

I don't think it's the same problem. In my case, the sample doesn't even get saved in the project folder (from what I can tell, it isn't saved anywhere). And yes, RS5K still points to the original location.

Do you mean that if you create a new track, add RSM5K to it, load a new sample from a CD and save the project, then the CD sample is copied in the project folder?
Cheers

Sorry, my mistake. Just tested it and you're right, it still points to the original location (although the sample got copied to the new location).
Put it into the tracker again and I'll vote for it ...

Old thread, but confirming that when you "copy media to project directory" (Preferences), and save your project (creating a subfolder in the process), the new location (your project folder / "samples") is the new location for any RS5K samples in your Project. Brilliant.
