Default Chapter markers directly into MP3

I mean WAV, not MP3.

Is it possible to add chapter markers directly to an MP3 file? I know Auphonic can do this given markers, but wondering whether it is possible without that step.

Thanks

Auphonic, chapter markers? Do you mean this:
Import Chapter Marks from Audio Input Files and WAV Markers
https://auphonic.com/blog/2013/07/08...c/#audio-input

Then there's this:
Top 3 Ways to Split Audiobook into Chapters

Reaper doesn't have specific chapter markers like some of the software suggested above. But Reaper does have project markers with which you can mark down different sections. You can also split the imported audio file into separate chapters which you can then save. It depends on what software you want to use to decide how to proceed...
