Sorry I cannot help but I would like to know too. This is why I still are on windows 7. I read good and bad things about FireWire on win10.

I got my liquidmix 32 working in an earlier build of win10Pro after following instructions I found online. It came with a TI pic-e firewire card which seems to work fine FOR ME. Not necessarily for everyone.
I will go and have a rummage through my old downloads & see if I still have it. Currently using the liquid mix on my 2011 Mac Mini Server, where it also works really well with the built-in firewire connection.

Thunderbolt to firewire adapter plug. It's made to just work and it does.

Not detecting firewire devices connected to the card or not detecting the card?
Does it show up with yellow triangle in device manager or not show at all??

If you absolutely have no IEE1394 entries in device manager then it suggests a hardware issue.....check seating of the card, if you have other pcie cards try them in same slot or try the fw card in another slot.

Make sure the slot isn't one of those whose lane is shared with the NVMe if you have an NVMe drive fitted.
