FR: Empty Items (notes) on Master track

simple really -
the master track for obvious reasons can't have audio/midi/any items put on it.

but how about empty items and therefore notes/images?

with the master track view on, theres a track panel sized strip of unused space there, so why not make use of it for neatness and convenience.

I would love this feature too. Lyrics, chords, production notes could go here but also....

wouldn't it be extremely useful to colour code sections of a musical piece?


I would like to import various music to Reaper and place named, colour coded sections in the master track showing the sections and transitions in the music, then zoom out and study the lengths, repetitions and so on.

I'm sure the potential usefulness of this is obvious to one and all.

Would it be hard to implement?

Very good idea! When automation items get implemented, this is a valid reason to have it included, too!
