Please disable 'ESC' key closes Mixer
Hello all,
I use the escape key to remove time selection in Arrange window. Unfortunately, if the mixer has focus, pressing ESC will close the mixer and there doesn't seem to be a way to disable this.
Any thoughts?
All the best,

Interesting..
So even if you click directly on the mixer and press ESC, it doesn't close?
If so, I'll log this as a bug then.
Thanks Tim!

Still present - any suggestion
Hi folks,
Ok, I know it's a really old post, but I'm experiencing the same behaviour (if mixer has focus, hitting ESC to remove time selection closes the mixer). I'd like to avoid esc to close mixer but can't figure how ! So if someone could help....
thks

My preferred solution (workaround) is Backspace = clear timeselection.

Hi Daxliniere,
Yes, that is this behaviour I'd like to set but can't figure how. There is no "clear time selection" in the action list, only "clear time selection locking mode". Is it this action ?
regards

Look for action #40020 Time selection: Remove time selection and loop points (or 40635)

Damned I spoke quite a bit quicky (I wasn't at the studio), ESC is already assigned to "Time selection: Remove time selection and loop points", and when the mixer has the focus, if I hit ESC, it closes the mixer and doesn't remove time selection :-/
I'm on PC (win10) Another Idea ?
