Default plugin crashing project

Is there anyway to disable individual plugins? to identify the problematic plugin?

or is there only 'open project -with FX offline checked' option??

Ctrl-click in FX chain over the plug-in's check box to toggle off line.

To do it to a selection, select required plug-ins in FX chain then Ctrl Alt B to toggle off-line.

I would suggest setting them all off line, then bringing them back in one at a time.

Also ....

I don't know if you are running any bridged plug-ins, but if so you might be having issues there. In some circumstances, running bridged plug-ins each in a dedicated process can help prevent crashing, but is CPU intensive.

You can check out section 16.26 of the User Guide for more info about separate processes and dedicated processes. Personally, I prefer just not to use a plug-in if it seems buggy - just giving you options!

This is for when you cannot open a project because of a problematic plugin that crashes Reaper. This has happened to me quite a few times on older projects with old plugin versions. Thanks
