Default Show Me The Way - Upbeat Synthesizer tune

I have not composed music in about six months, so I thought I would make a new upbeat synth tune. Show Me The Way, as in show me the way to the refrigerator with the cold beer - Enjoy!

Revised audio conversion: https://youtu.be/kDmEzkBpo3U

Hi,

there is definitely something wrong with your song. Could it be that the kick drum is delayed? It sounds a bit untidy.

Please take a look if the sample has some pre-silence or if the midi items of the kick are delayed in your project.

Greetings
Eli

Nothing wrong with MIDI notes or samples, nor video with sound, before or after uploading on YouTube. I do not hear any timing problems, but should somebody else mention it, I'll look at it again.

Maybe its the pressure point of the kick? Wrong compression? Have no idea. But here on my head phones it sounds like tsboom .. tsboom .. tsboom.
I will see if I can test it tomorrow on monitor boxes.

Ok by rendering only track two which contains the kick, and then using Camtasia video frame grabber and video editor to export to Windows Media File (WMV) I actually discovered the kick sound is changed by Camtasia!

So I rendered the video in Camtasia to AVI and a different audio format instead, which seems to have fixed the kick issue you were noting. First post with video link has been replaced with new version. Thanks!

Did you get a chance to re-listen after I identified the issue and uploaded a newly converted video?

I was a teenager when Jean-Michel Jarre's Oxygene came out and it was a great influence and still is on all my music. Him plus Tangerine Dream, Giorgio Moroder, Vangelis, Kitaro, and Alan Parson Project just to name a few.
