Minor UI issue in Windows 8.1
Hi,
I love LICECap and it worked perfectly in Windows 8. The core functionality still works perfectly in 8.1, but the close button is missing in the top-right corner: - Just a minor thing, but I thought I'd let you know so hopefully it can be fixed in the next version. Thanks! |

Does 8.1 allow you to set licecap.exe via properties to 8.0 or 7.x compatibility mode? That might fix it for now.

If I right-click on where the close button should be and hold the button down, the X appears then, and if I move the mouse pointer away from it while still holding the left mouse button down, the X will stay visible while I'm using the program, but it has a white box around it that wasn't there when I was using the same version with Windows 8: - MS must have made a small change that breaks it. Still, at least it's fully functional with 8.1 outside of that very minor issue! |
