Default Media Explorer: waveform lost

If I select an item in the Media Explorer, it is highlighted and its waveform is displayed.

If I then select, say, another track by clicking the TCP, the highlighting changes to the "Window list selected row (inactive)" colour and the waveform remains displayed.

But if switch to another program (e.g. Firefox), the highlighting changes to the "Window list selected row (inactive)" colour and the waveform is not displayed. Even when I switch back to Reaper.

not a real bug i guess

it appears when audio is closed when set to offline when reaper isn't active and medaifile isn't playing

set reaper not to close the audio device and you're ok with the peaks display (and propably won't hear anything in firefox)

kinda nitpicking

^^

It could be argued that audio items in the arrange come back online automatically again (and displaying the waveforms) when doing this and so should in the Media Explorer.
