Default Fix shaky view when playing on close zoom (gif)

Hi,
I often need to make close edits on waveforms and to pinpoint an exact selection, I make a selection and have it on repeat and then move the selection around until I find the right spot.
The problem is that, on certain zoom levels, the view gets all shaky, moving right and left erratically so I can't even grab the edges of the selection to move it, shrink or widen it!

A fix would great, thx!

Yes, I do. I'm guessing your point is going to be that then the behavior is normal?
If so, I don't agree. I've only tried in Studio One and it doesn't behave that way with auto-scroll enabled: It stays still however small the loop section is or wherever the loop is set in the arrange view so...it doesn't HAVE to be this way, it's not a technical limitation that cannot be overcome (my guess in fact is that it's probably not this way in most other DAWs either).
