dragging envelope segment of multiple selected ignores the others
Notice i have multiple points selected and i am dragging envelope segment of one of them. I would expected all selected envelope segments to fallow, no? something does not feel right Imo

Instead of dragging a selected envelope segment, try dragging one of the selected envelope points.

yes i am aware! Thank you. altho, the behaviour still looks bad.
Dragging the envelope changes easily the X position of the envelope and if we have multiple points with this characteristics it can easily disfigure everything you have selected.

Mouse Modifiers and then Context: envelope point > left drag.
Choose "move envelope point vertically"
That helps ?

yes that works! but the bahaviour is still bad and that is why i consider a nitpick, and is one more too much specific modifier (i don't have more keys : ) )
Thanks

bump!
you see! in other DAW Software this very specific thing is one of the strongest ways and largely used way to set volume on/off on loops and samples on loop based music.
In reaper it is a nitpick!!!
/me auto slaps

deeb,
I use 2 workflows for simulate that Ableton Live behaviour in Reaper:
a) Make sure Snap is ON, set envelope default point shape to square (can be set in Preferences) and then use "freehand draw envelope" action (Can be found in mouse modifiers > envelope segment > left drag).
or:
b) By creating a Volume Automation Item, you can then try out different automation patterns in the Automation Item Properties window : really powerful.
Hope this helps abit :0)
