(example included) why is the screen scroll-jumping horizontally here?

All I am doing is dragging the rightmost item's right edge. I don't understand why the screen is jumping horizontally in relation to my movements when they don't go to the next page of the arrangement. It's annoying!

To my mind the only time the screen should jump is when I drag the item edge to an area not visible in the current screen.

This happens above, but it is also jumping around when I do little movements that are within the visible area. Makes my eyes have to reset every time.

No one experiences this?

Doublecheck your mouse modifiers. Perhaps, simultaneously with the main function, drag scrolling is triggered. Perhaps this is the action of some script that runs in the background.

I was unable to replicate this bug on my system.

thanks for the tip. It was set to 'relative edge edit'. I changed it to 'just move', and I hope that should fix it.
