Default Multi Channel - volume canceling

I have a vox track that I have 6 channels outputting into 2 additional tracks.

My question: When I raise the volume fairly high on a receiving track (ie, ch 3&4), the volume of my whole project goes down. Sort of like a ducking effect when there is a wave form present. During the empty segments of the track - every other track plays at normal volume. ????

I don't quite follow. Can you post the project file? Do you have a compressor somewhere? Any phase reverse switches engaged?

Yes - I have a compressor on one of the ghost routed tracks. I'll try removing that. It makes sense to try that. Thanks - I get back.
