Re-assigning the mod wheel and pitchbend wheel to a key
Does anyone know if it is possible, using MIDI learn say, to re-assign the pitch bend and mod wheels to a key on the computer keyboard? I know this may be VST dependent, but has anyone done it?
The reason for this crazy request is that I'm building a controller using a Makey Makey board. This allows me to map notes defined by letters on the virtual MIDI keyboard to an external controller (yet to be built). The musical notes side of it is fine. However, I want to include the mod and pitchebend wheel. To do this, I would have to somehow map them to keys on the computer keyboard.
