dear guys,

using , learning and loving reaper

i recorded a bass drum running like boom boom shak boom. i want the effect of 100 drums playing simultaniously for every boom. i applied reverb and adjusted room size, dampering to the extreemes. but i could not get the desiered effect. i am stammering to do it. kindly tell me how to get the effect. is there any additional fx to be added?

Readelay--different EQs (bandpass) on each tap

Although, investing the time into flamming a couple different samples will give you a much realistic result.

1-------- About readelay

Each tap may be assigned a time-delay or in your case a flam value

2-------- About using samples

Make new tracks and insert different boomboomboom ( ) samples time-shifted ''randomly'' to create your ''tribal'' effect.

Haha, yes I thought it was type vehicle transmission myself for some time - then I awoke from my recurring nightmare of not knowing how to do stuff and found the cure for my confusion - ah The Manual (user guide). Wonderful therapy indeed

I gotta admit that I have the most fun experimenting with all the plug-ins. I've been experimenting with stomp boxes and rack effects all of my life and having Reaper has been a very liberating experience.

Try everything. Push the limits, and break the rules.

Read the user's guide, be patient and trust your ears.

Measure twice, cut once.

What?

I surely to be will confusing you.

D...s
if your PC is fast enough and you have a fast internet connection, I would also suggest watching some of the Reaper tutorials that are available...maybe on YouTube. Sometimes seeing something done is easier than reading about it..
