Default Miroslav Philharmonik 2 VST DLL Error

Hello,

I am new here to the forum. I have been enjoying Reaper after purchasing it about 6 months ago at the recommendation of a family member.

I just purchased and downloaded Philharmonik 2 from IK Multimedia along with some of their other vst's and this is the only one that is not working. This was of course the most important one so the music making has stopped and the frustration and cussing has started. Has anyone seen the following DLL Error when trying to use it in Reaper and as a stand alone?

Cant load C:\Program Files\IK Multimedia\Miroslave Philharmonik 2\Philharmonik 2.vpa

I am stuck. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, uninstalled and reinstalled Reaper. I have been to the IK Media site, there is nothing there about this or on the web. This is the first VST that refuses to cooperate.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Joe

The best thing to do is raise a Support Ticket, here for some one to one investigation and help (US (East Coast) Business hours, generally). Response time is usually within 2 working days, but in the current circumstances please allow some more time.

Will do. I was just hoping that someone has seen this and had some information. I am reading that IK has not been easy to get help from. I hope that is incorrect.

I am sure that if anyone here does know the answer they will post it here.

Have a look at:
https://cgi.ikmultimedia.com/ikforum...p?f=12&t=23982

You will find the previous versions by clicking [Past Releases] in the Philharmonik entry in your User Area / My Products.

Problem resolved. I called Sweetwater who I bought the software from. They have tech support. There is a known bug and a work around. You would download a previous version and install that first. Then you can update to the newest version. This took care of the problem. I hope this helps. Remember to also download the sound library, unzip and install each of the 3 libraries while you have reaper and Miroslav closed. I hope this helps!
