ReaSurround Automation issues

In ReaSurround Automation, it brings up pretty much everything and more to be able to select and automate. I can pan things around just fine, but I have not been able to automate the "influence" in the speaker faders pull-down menu, or the LFE faders under the input faders pull-down. Just for the heck of it, I armed everything on the page, and I still can't get it to automate.

I'm on Mac OS X

What am I doing wrong?

UPDATE: OK there seems to be a pretty bad bug. I rebooted Reaper, and it automated as expected in touch mode. It played back fine, until I redid part of the automation in touch mode again. It drew out the keyframes correctly, but would not play it back. Once I rebooted again, it would play back correctly again. Every automation update on those parameters, (LFE was the one I was testing) would make it stop working. I hope someone can check into this.
