Default GUI : shade windows to titlebar only

With mouse wheel in Linux you can roll (shade) a window to only show its title bar.
Great to interact with lots of windows with the fewest moves/clicks.

Nothing like this in Windows7 of course but here I'm using WinRoll (does the same thing with a right click) in Aodix :

Try it, it's great !... but in Reaper, floating windows are not reacting to it, only the main window.

So is there a way to make it work ?
Any other similar software that would work with Reaper ?

Sounds interesting, but what if you just want to do an horizontal zoom and not to roll the window? Or do you have to do it on the window title bar?

Yes, you use the mouse wheel up on the title bar to shade the window, mouse wheel down to unshade, it doesn't interfere with the horizontal zoom.
It's a useful feature imho : you don't have to close floating windows when they take so little space as title bar only. I use it all the time with Gimp.

It works perfectly on Linux with Wine :

(LICEcap capture slows things down in Wine, sorry)

It work in Windows 7 when a VST runs as a separate process. But it's not ideal since it won't work for the media explorer, FX browser, IO routings etc.
Any other ideas to make it work ?
