Default Theme Tip for Retina mac users.

Dear Retina mac users,

My experience with Themes is that they always look quite blurry, not sharp.
Especially Item label texts and texts in Toolbar buttons.
Also, the waveform displays (Item peaks) are mostly looking not well defined/unsharp.

Theme's that suffer way less from these issues(at least for me) are the Janne Themes:
https://stash.reaper.fm/browse.php?q=janne&x=16&y=12

So maybe this is useful a tip for you Retina users.

In the end,i am still very curious what's the reason behind the fact that
Item label texts and texts in Toolbar buttons in Themes on Retina's are always blurry.
There must be some kind of reason behind this.
A final definitieve answer to this would be more than welcome.

if Reaper 6 won't support retina displays that would be a big disappointment

I don't have a Mac and of course not a retinal display

still I'm curious about what the 'blurry' means...

I wonder is it possible to post screen shots that would show the difference between sharp and blurry?

I ask because I use my own theme [CIRCUS] and have hi rez monitors and it all looks as sharp as anything else...

Just moved to a Retina Macbook Pro without being aware of these issues.

Thanks for the tip. I just tried Reaper Albino theme and it's a bit easier on the eyes-more components seem sharp. Fonts are still blurry though.

It's been this way forever, and a big reason why I have moved to Logic. I can't believe this isn't a major headline on the forums, and that it doesn't seem to have been fixed?
