Hi Jon, Look at this capture (FL Studio):

The project is full but you still see de light/dark pattern each 4 bars.

I think it's a good visual reference to create or move things.

Use zoom to see the effect.

Well, it depends on the zoom, so you'll see about the same number of these lanes.

we don't vote on feature requests anymore.
For a lot of projects, no. For a lot of other projects, yes! Certainly enough that it should come in handy, since it sort of depends on how your items are structured and it would vary a little genre to genre.

Glad this made it in here!

Don't forget you can change "Pixeld between items on adjacent tracks" from 0 to other value, so you'll see it always.

Hey man, unrelated question:
How did you make the color so vibrant and saturated on your tracks? Mine are less colorful and also not completely colored like yours
I'm talking about the tracks on the track list on the left of the screen.
Is it just the skin/theme or is this editable?
Thanks!

Hey Birdy,

I think that is just the theme I'm using and it's settings which I think is "analog default dark" or something like that. I found it in the stash because it's basically the same as the default theme but different coloring and tweaks. I'm not seeing it in the stash and my folder shows it is a beta so I'm not sure where I got other than some thread I saw it in, if you want it, and can't find it, I can try to make it available to you.

I think the actual filename is.. Analog_Default_Dark.ReaperTheme.Zip

Short answer is it is probably editable in the theme editor, likely one of the color tinting behaviors such as overlay and so on meaning you can probably just change that in the them you use now.

Not sure I like this idea.

It's looking too confusing having alternating tracks and columns at different brightness levels - it's looking like a bad plaid design.

What are you talking about? There is no brightness. It uses colors.
