Like others on here, this is the only (lack of) function that stops me from using Reaper 100% of the time. I know there is that plugin/extension/thing from Fingers that has been linked to elsewhere but this is functionality that really should be included as standard in 2010. I mean, if Computer Muzys can do it...

I cannot believe that this topic has been around for years in the couple of threads that i have found, both of which im posting on, and there has been no word from Cockos about possible implementation.

I'm challenging someone from Cockos (in a friendly, non aggressive, albeit exasperated way) to update us on this situation, even if it's only to say, "Not gonna happen".

Imo, when it comes to DAWs Reaper is top of the pack for mixing, near the top for recording, but right down the bottom for composition. This is such an important feature in that respect it's just plain weird that there's this silence over it.

So c'mon Cockos, enlighten us!

***As mentioned above, this is a duplicate post as included on a very similar thread. This forum is a bloody rabbit warren so topics can get lost or duplicated as easily they appear, hence the double posting. Apologies if this violently goes against any rules.

Appreciate the link, thanks. Would still like an official update tho, that reply was 9 months ago now and the situation may have changed *fingers crossed*

I'm waiting too, just not with bated breath anymore.

Groove Quantize is definitely a counter to the "REAPER gets things implemented within days of it being asked for" comments

Now if only Timbaland would start using REAPER!

Haha! Yeah, celebrity power always works! I'll give him a call now... I'm sure he'd drop Open Labs if asked nice enough
