Default Distant Objects [album release]

Hi Peeps,

Apologies for pestering... After all, I have already posted at least half of the tracks from this album here over the last month.

But it has finally come together and I wanted to announce that.

Distant Objects is a collection of seven tracks, totalling eighty minutes. The odd numbered tracks are mainly sequence based pieces whereas the even numbered tracks are more soundscapes.

Sales on Bandcamp are going better that I thought, considering the material... Seven sold up to now. Only another seven thousand to go in order to pay for all my equipment and stuff over the years

No pressure to listen, of course... No blistering guitar leads or complicated chord progressions... All nice and easy stuff.

cheers

andy

Hi peep,Synkrotron

Good to hear you launched another collection.
I want to hear you just cleared 7hundred,000 units!

I will tune in at some point soon for some powerful wave therapy.

Lurrvly.. Man, this is a trip. Beautiful laid back ambient chill. My kind of vibe. I will check it out properly later. But I think it is worth the £4.. Great work. I like it.

Now you've sold 8, Superluminal Transition is my favorite. Already working working on some guitar riffs for it.

Excellent work as always Synk.

Wow! Amazing! Thank you very much for the purchase, I really appreciate it

If you make your guitar stuff public, give me a shout so that I can have a listen. Or if you don't want to post it on the interwebs, send it to me somehow.

cheers,

andy

I liked Superluminal Transition as well. I'll try and work my way through the rest of the album today. I am listening to MACS1149-JD1 right now. This is nice ambient / background music. When my wife and I head off to bed, we usually hang out with our dogs for about 30 mins first, and listen to some sort of spa/massage ambient noise. This would fit right in lol Trust me, it might not sound like it, but that's a compliment. I like it. Sometimes you just need some mellow/chill music. I listen to a lot of death metal or pumping electronica music, so it's nice to have something a little more relaxing to listen to, now and then!

Completely random, but I love the album artwork too. I might suggest messing around with the color on the logo / album title to make it pop out more, but I'm not the artist here. It really looks cool as is though.

Unexpected Encounter.. cool tune Love the brass(?) sequence part in there. Like Jean Micheal Jarre - lite. lol

Thank you, again

My graphical talent is somewhat more limited than my "musical" talent haha!

I think you're right about the title and I should have a go at fixing that one day. I still like the colour of the title and it just needs more work on its "halo" effect, if you know what I mean.

The spacey background is a flame fractal created with Chaotica and I thought it would fit well with this one.

I am really amazed and surprised by the amount of attention that this album has got. I must be doing something right, even it it isn't to everyone's taste

cheers

Yeah, if the colors are what you like (and there definitely is nothing wrong with them, it just bleeds into the background a bit much, perhaps) then yes, either a fully white "stroke" around it, or more halo would bring it out a bit more. Really though, this is nitpicking on my part. I like it!

Nice soundscape you have going on it this. Could be music for video or cinema.

Legit space travel music. I need to figure out how to do those synth bubbles one day. I'm 99% sure it's something with LFOs and resonances.

Thanks!

Yeah, it can certainly be a lot of faffing about... lots of automation and effects and stuff, but it can be fun, for most of the time

cheers
