Transparrent png
Seems like Reaper doesn't handle png transparent anti-aliasing well. It's very jagged here. Bumping resolution to 2x solves much.
Any better way? |

More context is needed. Depends on how the transparency was acheived on the png (ex: background removal with paint 3d can leave artifatcs), its resolution compared to you video footage and at which stage you're applying the smoothing filter.

It's text from Affinity Publisher. All is smooth on the original export, but in Reaper things gets jagged.

You seem to be upscaling the bitmap containing the text. Check the preporties of the bitmap you are exporting from Affinity and increase the resolution if possible, that was the meaning of my question.

Upscaling 2x for the image is a decent workaround, but seems like a Reaper-issue. |
