Default Dark Blue Tagi - (Modification of Default6 DarkBlue mod by vidalsh)

Hey there,

many month ago I found a new cool theme for me, which I changed to better fit my needs. As always, credits first:

The original theme is by vidalsh:

https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2598/D...ReaperThemeZip

I asked and was allowed to publish my changes. So thanks for that! You did a great job already, vidalsh!

Download here:

https://stash.reaper.fm/theme/2807/Dark%20Blue%20Tagi

My theme now looks like this:

(bigger image here)

And these are my changes:

2022-03-06:
- Stupid me forgot to keep track ... I guess I rearranged some TCP icon layout logic, changed some overall colors, etc. Nothing that big. From now on I try to keep track. Sorry for the lack of information here!

2022-03-30:
- Made the tcp.fxparm (FX plugin list on the TCP) smaller for scale one to fit more items in their. Screenshot for that added in the stash.
- Removed the PAN and WIDTH label from the TCP.

2022-07-23:
- Changed the colors for the volume knob on media items.

2023-10-13:
- I changed the MIDI editor note selection colors (Since v6.83 the MIDI editor note look has been changed. I do like the idea of having them flat, yet now the border is not to distinguish anymore. Thus you can enable the themes bordering in the MIDI editor > View > Color notes by > When coloring by track or media item)

2023-10-27:
- Changed the selection and play cursor colors.
- Changed the graphic for Highlight edit cursor over last selected track to better fit the new play cursors color.

Great theme, this has become my go-to. Nice combination of dark shadings and fuss-free control elements.

Thanks for the Amazing theme, Tagi! I love the colors and contrast!

One question, is it possible for me to change the project tab appearance make the MCP less dark?

Here's a screenshot:

Here's a screenshot:
1. Could you specify it a bit more? Maybe you can change some elements with the "Theme development: Show theme tweak/configuration window" action?
2. What is this colorfull line in the box oni the top of this screenshot?

Oh, right. I meant the meter, I believe it is an image(?). I tried changing its color with the theme development window but nothing seems to change it.

It is the Global Sampler script from BirdBird!

Sorry, I am still not quite getting what you actually mean. ... do you mean the meters like these things:

And do you mean everything around the meter? Or the meter-colors?

Maybe you could make a screenshot with ShareX, point to the area in the image and then post it on Imgur like I did.

Thanks for the hint. I will check this out. BirdBird is so good in scripting! *.*

Ok, for that you should look into a PNG file - it might be mcp_master_volbg.png for the master and mcp_volbg.png for the tracks, I guess. To find such elements / files yourself you can call the action "Theme development: Show theme element finder" and browse through the lower select box, which is for the files. The upper one is for tweakable colors, which aren't image files.

Hope this helps. (=

I changed the colors for the volume knobs on media items. I did not like the shiny knobs and I did not recognized them earlier, since I just recently changed my workflow to enable these knobs (I find them handy suddenly, hehe). That's why I only now changed this tiny knobs. Hope you like them. (-;

I did some more minor tweaks in the meantime to better fit some new changes in the GUI of Reaper. Here are the new changelog points:

Thanks for the feedback. But mainly thank vidalsh for the original theme. I just did some modifications.

Btw: I am still using this theme here daily.

You should be able to just start the theme adjuster from the menu as usual. At least here it works that way. If it does not work on your end, I am not 100% sure, if there was a script. Yet I cannot find anything in the original theme. So I just guess it should work out of the box to use the theme adjuster.
