Recording of non-automatable VST parameters

Hello,

We are about to release a VST instrument and ran across a bug in Reaper. Namely parameter changes for non-automatable parameters are recorded when global automation recording is turned on. We use non-automatable parameters to toggle solo and mute states for individual pads in our drum sampler. All other DAWs we tested do not show this behaviour. Other tested DAWs are:
Ableton Live, Cubase, Tracktion, MixCraft, Digital Performer, MuLab, Magix Samplitude
