Problem with deleting FX

So, here is the thing. Everytime i press DEL button in FX strip with one of the FX's selected - it promts "Delete the channel" instead of deleting that FX. Only remove button works, which slows workflow down quite a bunch.

It started doing so some time ago, and it drives me nuts. Everything works as intended and then BAM - reaper wants to delete my channels for no reason. Extensive googling yielded no results.

Any ideas? I'm almost desperate.

In the FX Chain window menu, check if Options > Ignore FX chain keyboard shortcuts (send to main window) is enabled.
