Default LCS Bug fix of Albert-C (Solaris Pro) theme

11/28/2017
Bug fix of Albert-C (Solaris Pro) theme.
The goal was just to fix things that were broken and make some tweaks for better usability.

This is a large, fullscreen theme.
It is not flexible and not recommended for laptops or other small screens.
This theme is for users with basic needs and a large screen.
The layouts are limited to 2 for the MCP and 2 for the TCP.
The MCP Master has 4 layouts, but 2 are just lowered versions of the other 2.
This is so the Master track can be aligned with the MCP when there is a low count of tracks with no scrollbar at the bottom.

get it from Stash:
LCS_BugFix_ ALBERT-C ( SOLARIS-PRO )

INSTRUCTIONS:
- click on the link above
- download the theme from the Stash page the link opens
- unzip the downloaded file
- copy the theme file into Repear's color theme folder
- open Reaper

FIXES & TWEAKS
- altered MCP Pan knob to function like a pan instead of a volume level knob
- created Stereo and Dual Pan faders, knobs, backgounds and layouts for MCP and TCP and both Masters.
- various tweaks to the Transport to help it match the theme better.
- changed Solo to yellow and Mute to red to follow along with the Default theme.
- changed TCP default layout so Name label will stretch to make it bigger
- created a TCP volume fader/slider for the compact view.
- changed the TCP FXparm so the active FX no longer appear to be muted.
- added the FX-In button the right side of the Recinput box.
- adjusted the text margins in the MCP and TCP name labels.
- changed recarm off from red to red tinted gray and auto from red to yellow LED to clarify status better
- fixed ENV Preview for MCP and Global ENV.
- fixed the background for the Global ENV text.
- fixed various other little bugs and made so many little tweaks I lost track.

NEW LAYOUTS:
- created new TCP layout with a longer name showing in the smallest position.
- created lowered version of the default layout for when the scrollbar is hidden
- created several fader colors and added layouts for them in the MCP.
- created a Big Meter layout and a lowered version of it for when the scrollbar is hidden.
- created several knob colors for the Big Meter layouts and added layouts for them in the MCP.

SCREENSHOTS: (these are big, unless you have a 4K monitor)

I downloaded Solaris Pro theme it does not match the description you have in your posting.
Did you by chance upload the wrong version of the theme?

Did you unzip the file first?

I tested just now using the following steps:
- clicked on the link in my first post
- downloaded the theme from the Stash page the link opens
- unzipped the downloaded file
- copied the theme file into Repear's color theme folder
- opened Reaper and loaded the theme

It work fine for me.
I added the instructions to first post in case unzipping was the issue.
Please note that if you are trying to use it on a small screen or low resolution screen, it will not work and and at best , will not look like my sceenshots.

I unzipped the file double clicked the reaper icon.

I looked at the rt file it shows that four layouts for the mixer, but when you try to change the mixer layout only two are shown.
Also the track view also only shows two layouts.

Is this theme a version 4 or version 5, I noticed no version 5 statement in the rt file.

Thanks for your response.

This is a Version 4 theme.
There are only 2 layouts for the mixer (not counting fader colors).
The RTCONFIG only has 2 layouts for the MCP.
- - The Master MCP has 4 layouts, but 2 are just lowered versions of the other 2.
- - The lowered versions are for low track count situations where the scrollbar is not present.
- - Using the lowered version in that scenario aligns the Master with the MCP tracks.

The following comments are from the Theme's download page on Stash:

This -is- the 'previous Solaris'.
This is the first one, the only one that Albert made.
It was never finished and had many bugs in it that made it hard to use even for basic needs.
This is the theme I used as the starting point to create version #1 of Solaris_LCS.

Default Awesome Theme!

Couple things...

First... the Theme looks totally awesome!

However, the Prev/Next Marker buttons in the transport are screwed up on my download. The 'Next' button looks like it's misplaced.

Also, this is just a question - don't know if it is even possible.

Can we get a version that replaces the 'Pan' knob with a 'Send' knob?

Thanks, but that would be Albert's doing.
I just fixed a lot of the bugs to make it more usable.

Please post a screenshot so I can clearly see what happening.

If you're asking for a send knob to replace the Pan knob in it's current position, no it's not possible as far as I know.
If you just want control over the send volume without opening the I/O window, then the graphic on the right side of the send slot is the volume knob for that send.
click/drag down and up for for raising and lowering the send volume.
