Default Arturia Mk II Control Surface Fix

Just in case this helps anyone else... I've been trying on and off for weeks to get my Arturia Mk ii to input CC from my own template into Reaper, rather than always using the factory defaults (even if another template was selected in the MIDI Control Centre). After a lot of forum searching, reading of various user guides, googling and general head scratching, this popped up and sorted it out straight away. Hopefully someone else will find this useful!

I follow these steps and it doesn't work. In fact, it doesn't have the word DAW like in the instructions.

Preset names don't show on display either when using AL3 in Reaper.

If I set up the mackie control, the pitch wheel controls the channel volume fader!

Bloody hell!
