Ever since I use Reaper, I did not really like resizing the height of the track TCP. Sometimes, when I opened templates and each track had a different TCP height, or the zooming affected individual track heights. Then I needed to adjust each TCP to make it consistent. Different track height are confusing to me, and looks messy.
With WALTER, I think I found a solution:
Default setting:
Code:
tcp_heights 4 24 49 73 ; supercollapsed, collapsed, small(norecarm), recarm size
My new setting:
Code:
tcp_heights 20 73 73 73 ; supercollapsed, collapsed, small(norecarm), recarm size
Any drawback into doing this? Zooming might be an issue. I wish the zooming only affected the track area, and not the TCP. I won't enter it into themes, but personally I prefer a fixed TCP height.
