yes it seems.
Maybe there could be a key-modifier to ‘unlock’ the auto-detection mode when clicked?

You can run x86_64 VST3s etc on REAPER/ARM, for example

There's a normalize-button in the render to file-dialog.
Just hit it.

Display Wave for when now Rendering Master Output
I really love all the new rendering features especially new RMS and LUFS indicators.
Would it be possible to adjust the Stems Render to display Waveform like it does when printing the Master track. I would only want the first track selected to display the waveform view.
Here's why.
When rendering a master music mix I don't render out of the master track because I send the dialog of the film I working on to the master as well as the music. So when I want to print a music only master I send all the Music to a buss Called 2mix and print selected track stems.
If you have any further question about why this would be useful, please let me know.

If Normalize is activated, is the first pass done in 32 or 64 bit float?
And if dither is activated, will it be added on the 1st or 2nd pass?

This update unlocks a lot more plugins for Mac M1 on ARM build
VST3 versions of IK-Multimedia (T-Racks and Amplitube), Devious Machines and Ursa DSP, Plugin Alliance (only tried byome and DS Thorn), and Arturia plugins are working with the bridge. They don't crash at load at least.
All iZotope plugins crash the bridge immediately.
Helix Native also crashes the bridge.
-- Not complaining! This is great progress

It shouldn't matter if you're rendering to 24-bit

2nd pass, last I checked

Analysing loudness of the media items is only available in dry runs ?
There should be a simple tool (like the sws extentions loudness) that gives the loudness without creating multiple audio files on disk.

A dry run render does not create any files on disk, that’s why it’s called a dry run. It says “no output” on the render dialog.

Prevent tiny volume change on initial track fader click.
This is going to be life-changing for me. It's the small things, you see.

And if it's to 16 bit?
But, anyway, shouldn't it be at the mixing engine resolution if the 1st pass writes a temp file on disk? I just want to be sure how it works.

The loudness calculations are done at 64-bit float. If you are rendering to a final format with bit depth of 32 bits or fewer, there is an intermediate 32-bit float calculation stage, but if the final format is greater than 32 bits the intermediate stage is 64-bit bit float as well. Dither is applied only at the final render stage, after the loudness and other statistics are calculated.

I should have said "if it's <= 24 bit".
FYI: 32-bit FP + gain --> 8/16/24 bit produces bit-for-bit identical results as 64-bit FP + gain --> 8/16/24 bit (since 32-bit FP is essentially 24-bit with variable gain)

I'm a bit late to the party here...
I haven't been testing the pre-release builds, but I just installed 6.30 and a VST3 that loaded in 6.27 (and 6.29, I just tested it) does not load now (in 6.30).
The VST3 is Couture by Auburn Sounds https://www.auburnsounds.com/products/Couture.html
It's a $$ plugin, but they have a free trial version. I'm running it on Linux, Ubuntu 20.04 LTS.
The odd thing is, it didn't show up in the "plugins that failed to scan" dialog, and I can *see* it in the add FX dialog. but it doesn't load. The FX dialog says: "The following effect plug-in could not be loaded".
When I open a project that has Couture in it, the missing VST warning pops up:
"The following effects were in the project file and are not available. REAPER will keep their configurations, but things may not sound as desired.
Track 12: VST3: Couture (Auburn Sounds)"
As always, thanks for supporting Linux (and LV2)!

You might want to check the plug-ins "Run as" setting to see if it was set to something other than "Automatic".
After that: Try clearing the cache and re-scanning your VSTs, it will likely fail the scan there.
Do you have the latest version of that plug-in? The free version loads here.
There is a change in 6.30 to require plug-ins to implement ModuleEntry/Exit on linux, this was made at Steinberg's request and it might be the case that older versions of that plug-in do not implement it...

Bless you, Justin!
You were right on all counts - when I cleared the cache and re-scanned the VSTs, it didn't scan.
I then checked my version #. I had version 1.4. I installed the latest version 1.5 and now all is well!
Happy 4th!
