Default RS5K: detect pitch is not linked to "octave shift" setting

Hello,

There is an option in REAPER to display octave numbering as we like.

For me, in the pianoroll, MIDI note #60 is a C3 (and not a C4 as in the ASPN).

When working with ReaSamplomatic5000, I noticed that note start/end are relevant to my octave shift setting (#60 displays C3), but "detect pitch" is not. When I detect a pitch that is actually a MIDI #60 (middle C) it displays and sets it to C4.

Please take a look at this and make a simple fix.

Default

Which octave shift settings do you use? -1? I’m still slightly confused why I’ve heard that’s a better setting then the default.
