Default Custom gradient for selected notes in MIDI Editor?

Is there any way to apply a custom gradient to the selected MIDI notes in the MIDI Editor when coloring is adhering to the color of the track?

So far it seems that if the color tracking of notes is set to "Track" it only slightly increases the color brightness... This makes it pretty difficzlt to seen any selected notes.

I tried changing the color of the border via the midi_notes_map... but that did not help too much either.

I guess another feature request?

Or did I miss a setting in the midi theme editor or a png in the theme pictures I could use to achieve this?

ideally I would like to mimik the look of a selected note in Cubase (dark theme).

As you can see in the screenshot the selected notes are barely visible :/

I can't check right now, but IIRC correctly its the other way around; the unselected notes are slightly darkened, and the selected note gets the pure custom colour applied.

..and, again IIRC, I don't believe its themeable - sorry.
