Default Is Reaper more akin to Acid,or Vegas?

I know many Vegas users visit this board, but I havent noticed any Acid pro people around here?
How do Vegas, and acid differ in mixing, and recording?
Acid has midi, and vegas has video, but don't the 2 sony apps share alot of the same code....or not?

acid 5 is pretty much a one media item per track kinda deal where vegas is a multitrack type with any number of media items per track

In other words, REAPER is more like Vegas, but has similarities to Acid, as well.

Thanks for the replies.
I knew there had to be a reason there was so many Vegas users here as opposed to people with Acid.

Aside from the one media file per track as mentioned here is a list of Acid vs. Vegas bullet point features I put together.

Default any chance of posting it here

Thanks for the comparison Rednroll unfortunately I don't have permissions to view it...any chance you could post it here rather than us all having to join another forum that we are not necessarily that interested in.

Cheers
