Default More options for automation items

Maybe i'm asking much for now but since we can't run most of the actions for envelopes inside automation items, would be nice if there were more options for what we draw and not only when using lfo.
For the moment i found that actions that work inside are increase decrease and reverse points.
Is it possible to run actions for envelope points inside AI in the future?

Else what i would like to see is something like randomisation, change different shapes or curves in time selection like fades, tilt(change up or down the edge from left or right side-something like fade in-out(but to affect everything inside AI custom draw or lfo)

Some other idea, if is possible to have another menu(Something like the menu of fades)where we can choose different shapes and paint them depending on grid.
Or capture the shape inside time selection and store it in the menu:P
Will help a lot to work more precise and fast with envelopes.

I know it's not easy but would love to see the AI evoluting even more.

Yes, I would love to be able to manipulate the envelopes, something similar to the skew etc for the lfo gen . Wonder if anyone has made any scripts for such a thing ?

There are some amazing scripts from Kawa and Juliansader but they don't work inside AI.
Hopefully devs will fix to be able to run actions inside AI or update AI with more options as i said in first post.
There will be huge benefit for manipulating envelopes, especially volume envelope for making rythmic parts

Wow!! You 're right once again many thanks Is this a bug that actions don't work inside AI?

No, it's how the script is programmed (didn't take AIs into account).

Ok that's good to know because i thought it was AI's problem...Then crossing fingers that programmers will update some of the actions for envelopes to work in AI.
Thanks!

Things like:
compress envelop points, create points to create Fade in and create Fade out envelopes would be nice.
Probably directly in the AI borders like it happens with create timestretch on items.
Probably i'll do a request for this later.

Compress you can do by stretch the AI but changes the length.Do you mean compress points but keep AI's length?
Fade in-out would be nice like normal items somehow.Because i tried Julian's lfo for this but when i try center function to fade it doesn't remember what i draw and keep lfo's parameters
Also duplicate points in time selection inside AI would be great.

i ment compress/ expand/ fade in / fade out selected the values vertically, but i am not sure how it could work. I have to think.

You can overlay multiple AIs and they sum/multiply. So it's easy to do fades that way.

Indeed that 'll work also good for now.(Even though i would prefer some option inside AI menu or an option to drag from AI top corners)but can't have everything

I would love to be able to treat AI´s more like items.
Take system , split to grid and reorder and all the juicy action we have for items.
Would be cool to collect items , then be able to import a bunch of them into a project as takes and then switch and cut between them.

As well as obviously being able to record automation in a loop and have the takes stack up , being then able to choose the best one or comp them.

In fact in my opinion they should have all or most of the editing features of a regular item.

Today was checking some functions from FL Studio's clips similar to AI:Step sequencer were each step is an envelope shape according to an envelope with attack, decay, sustain, release, gate, swing and time multiply which change time of envelope steps. Was great but not realtime....Now imagine if all those functions were in Reaper in realtime!
