Default Install JSFX effects for all users on OSX?

On OSX JSFX effects are currently installed in the user's library folder ("~/Library/Application Support/REAPER/Effects"). This implies that in a lab setting the install has to be done over snd over again for each of the users on the Mac.

Is there a way of installing JSFX effects so that they become available to all users? I have tried making the folder "/Library/Application SUpport/REAPER/Effects/" and move some effects there, but they do not show up in Reaper.

Thanks!

Put them in REAPER folder.

<REAPER folder>/Effects

Works in Windows, dunno about OSX.

This is worthy of a feature request. In OS X, VST's can be installed locally to a user's library or globally to the system library. Lots of other software does this too, that's why there are two kinds of libraries. As you suggest, Reaper and ReaJS should be able to access "/Library/Application Support/REAPER/Effects/".
