Default Complete lack of problems with AVL Drumkits LV2

My favorite surprise with the new LV2 support has been how nicely the AV Linux kits work. The multi-outs are all set up for you, the tracks are named automatically, and even the MIDI editor is picking up all the names from the kits.

Before I had been setting up track templates with the kits routed inside Carla and manually made the CCname files. It worked OK. But it's much nicer now.

Sure picked the right time to move to Reaper, I'm super happy to be able to use my fave plugins easily. Bridges kermidges, as I always say.

I hadn't looked at those much since I have Superior Drummer 2, but I was able to swap out Superior with the Pearl AVL kit and only a couple things didn't jive. High tom on V-Drums played a cymbal, but most everything else seemed to be mapped similarly.

Maybe I have to retract my statement...

No issues for me when adding it as a new instrument, and the high tom plays as expected, but then again I don't have any V-Drums.

(cool tunes btw!)

Not that big of a deal. My V-Drums match the General Midi spec for the core of the kit. In Superior I have 2 rack toms and 2 floor toms, mapped to GM drum keys.

Thanks! Most of them have real acoustic drums, but farther down the list I was still using V-Drums with Superior Drummer 2.
