[new 5.70 bug] Project start measure 0 vs ruler display
When set start measure to 0 ruler displaying 1,3,5,7,9 instead 0,2,4,6,8 and 0 disapears when zoom out.

I see.
So now ruler doesnt help at all. Most of people would change it to 0 to see 2,4,6,8,16...
@edit at least snap should be changed too...

As explained in the post that ED linked to, that is an intentional change, to ensure that measure 1 is always labeled.
If you are using the project measure offset to decide which labels to show, though, that won't work any more. Maybe we should add an option?

Yes. Now start measure feature works like "add extra space before song". As on gif it shows that something is wrong I see 1,3,7,9 and everything snaps to 0,2,4,8, strange feeling.

Yes, that would be great. Having it numbered 1,3,5,7 is really throwing me off. Probably because, as a programmer, I'm used to thinking with 0-index.
If you could make an option for this I would be very grateful
Cheers,

Unfortunately those of us who are musicians first think the opposite way. I count Bar one, 2.3.4. Bar Two,2,3,4 in my head out of habit.
Maybe a workable, selectable option for either convention?

Try the last pre. It should be there, but I'm not sure. Install it as portable version.

Cool! Where can you find the option in the preferences?

Sorry, I didn't check, so I don't know. You can try to find it yourself. Probably it will be in Project settings. God luck with it.
