Yes, it does not store the last state.
It will probably be added.

THIS ..is exactly what I need, but [newby question] where do I get it. I can only see the code version. Is this not available to be used from within Reaper yet?

updated tonight to your newest...

gotta say again, this is a brilliant addition to reaper... it should really be native to the program... and it works so well and nicely as it updates to the arrange window item settings of time selection and zoom...

just amazingly great work!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smooth and straight line edit would be a good addition to this gem.
Agree with hopi ,this should be native ,I hope.

Good. I almost finished the main part.
I want to add some features to the interface.
I counted the project time, the time of the source file, the grid of the project, the playrate, with the calculation of the offsets, and so on. Everything converges perfectly.
I did not take into account only stretch markers.
Perhaps at the moment we can do without it.

Yes, it is difficult, but possible.
To display the peaks, we could not count anything at all - just use the GetTakePeaks function.
But I need to know exactly the position in the source file for editing the samples.

I need time to put the code in order. And I want to add some controls.
I can not say for sure when, but I will definitely inform in this thread when the script is ready.
It will take some testing. I did not find any serious problems during the time I was doing the code. The file is written in protected mode, in addition we have the ability to cancel.
However, editing the source file should always be absolutely error-free

Hey, thanks for this script, looks very cool!

Would you consider displaying some basic information about the wave file in the GUI? Useful things like sample rate, bit depth, original channel count, etc.?

example pic from Wwise editor:

PS. does it still work destructively? I tried an early version of this quite some time ago, and after doing edits it immediately wrote those in the wave file itself without any way of undoing. If this is the case still, maybe it would be useful to have an option to open a rendered copy of the wave for editing.

This script is not complete. I have a test version, but it is missing in reapaсk. Maybe sometime I will add this script and add it to the reapaсk.

Would be cool to select each point and use a modifier key to bring it to dead center instead of drawing it by hand.

This looks brilliant, and not sure how i missed this! Well done @eugen2777.
This really should be in Reaper from day one!

As I use a destructive editor (and am desperate to get rid!), can this script be used for destructive editing, and 'saving' a file to disk like an editor? (so cut loops etc can be used in other DAW's?)

Also can your editor script allow other DAW's to use Reaper as its editor now?
