Default Changing tempo in Notation Editor / Midi editor

There doesn't seem to be a way to place a new BPM change within the Notation Editor or the Piano Roll MIDI editor, although inside the N.E. and also the P.R.E., editing a tempo marking can be done.

Is this a missing feature, or is there an extension or something that will allow for this? Maybe this should be a feature request if nothing's being overlooked?

Default

Update: It does seem like a missing feature in a direct sense, but there is a workaround:

1) In section: [Main], attach a keyboard shortcut to [Tempo Envelope: Insert Tempo/Time signature change marker at edit cursor]

2) In section: [MIDI Editor], add that shortcut to [Misc: Pass through key to main window].

Observation: Multiple shortcuts can be added to this of course, so you can pass through placing Markers also for instance. Thanks to the previous posters for this information
