Default "Pin on top" conceals pop-up alert windows

AAArgh! Caught out again.

I had pinned a plug-in GUI "on top". I made a mistake editing the plug-in and it kindly popped up a warning dialogue message. Sadly though it was hidden by the "on top" plug-in GUI so I could not deal with it.

Could I drag the plug-in GUI out of the way? Nope
Could I unpin it? Nope
Could I minimise Reaper - yes, but all the windows minimised.

Please, please put any pop-up "Child" windows on top of pinned-on-top window.

----------------------------
Also, from before "pin on top" should apply only within Reaper, not to all open windows (Explorer, Firefox etc).

A fix would be nice but did ALT+TAB fail too?

Yep, that works, thank you.

But should not be necessary (as it is easy to go past the "right" icon).

And it can hide Reaper's own Tool-tips too:

Confirmed here. I've seen it rarely, but it's a bit annoying.

Yep, this sucks. And the behavior is easily mistaken for Reaper being frozen.

One potential caveat to deal with, if the popup isn't directly generated by Reaper, Reaper doesn't have the choice to give it priority - there my be some ability to sense and drop it's own windows behind, sounds potentially tricky. That's the danger in general to deal with any app has windows that are anything but temporary as always on top.

When they are directly generated by reaper it can probably set AWOT for those during invocation.

I deal with this on the Windows taskbar. The popup always shows up as a window choice, so just hover on it and click to open.
