Default toggle ALL automation

hi there,
I hope I don't offend by missing some forum convention.
have searched extensively here, and elsewhere online and i cannot find what I am looking for.

recently got a midi controller (nano kontrol 1) and have been setting it up how i like in reaper. I was able to find out how to do all this with the posts here on the forum but need a specific command and cant find it.

my question is: how do i get an action - 'Toggle ALL Automation between touch and Read' ?

there are some actions that are close like 'SET automation read' or 'toggle single track'

does this make sense?

yes, that would do fine.

toggle latch/read OR OFF would be better for this controller and in general.

the only actions i see available are toggle ALL BYPASS which is not much use or toggle single TRACK between touch/trim.

You should be able to set this up using the sws Cycle Action Editor. Then assign the Cycle Action to a Keyboard Shortcut or a toolbar button.

Here is one that switches between two toolbars:

thanks so much darkstar.
I looked into that and after a few minutes have created a cycle

now, a similar action with my solo and mute buttons depressed it works fine with my nano... if i go through the 'scenes' the lights go off, but this is ok because when you get back to that scene you must press that button twice and the light re-aligns with the actual onscreen solo/mute status.

at the moment, if i switch scenes with automation active then switch back my toggle light is reversed to what is happening in reaper with automation
can you tell me how do i get my new cycle command to do this too?

I don't know the nanoPad, but somehow the Cycle Action and the controller are getting out-of-sync.

Does the scene change send / reset any messages?
