Default aston microphones shoot out

Stealth' cardiod large diaphram condenser mic

*4 built in switch postions that I couldnt opperate as it was stuck

*weird clip that slides into back of mic... makes some mic position difficult

The Stealth isvery much designed for vocals in that regard you can get right up into the grill ; and the top end is still crisp!
Im a baratone that sings mainly in A up to Dand it performs very well with that range
i was very impressed with the fildelity and the frequency range
and the bass doesnt overpower the dynamic range

It sounded pretty good with my acoustic guitars as well
*doesnt work as a distance mic

I use a sure sm7b and i would definately consider this a step up in quality for appx 440 used

demos...

I like my Stealth. The "switch ring" is a bit of a knack, there's a video:

The idea is that they're different "voicings" (i.e. built in eq) which can be chosen to suit different sources. There's a couple of vocal settings - V1 , V2 (brighter), a guitar setting (G) and a dark (D) one.

Note, the Stealth is a dynamic mic. With a built-in pre-amp - which is engaged when phantom power is applied - can also be used passive.
