Envelope points -
How can I change this behavior and why is it set like this as default?
I'm just trying to move these two points equally so that they both are level. What settings to I need to change to make this happen.
I'm using the left click drag so why do the points behave differently?

Image two - Meh, so frustrating https://imgur.com/a/IYkbgp3
Big Edit - more pictures to provide context of what I'm trying to actually do.

Seems like every time I want to do something 'simple' with envelopes I have re watch Kenny's videos lol .....
Workflow killed this morning. Deep breaths......

Only one of the flat envelope bottoms adjusting while you have marquee selected the points on several of them can happen if you are not dragging above any selected envelope point, but actually above one of the envelope segments. If you see the cursor change from the crossed arrow to an up-down arrow, you are affecting a single envelope segment, not all the selected points.

I use this action with my mousewheel to do that and it works very well. I assign Ctrl+Alt+Mousewheel to it.
Script: cz_select_two_points_ near_mouse_pointer.lua is here

Not sure it's what you want in this exact case, but I do this sort of thing by making time selection, right click, Select all points in time selection, then using Num Pad keys - 8 for up, 2 down. 4 left, 6 right.

Thanks for the responses guys.
@Xpander That explains part of the example, cheers.
@ Coachz I'll have a go at that solution. Will make life easier for sure.
@ nicholas - I can't replicate that experience - are those defaults? Mine doesn't work this way at all.

The other script I like puts 2 env points whenever I hit my shortcut key (i) for me.
It works while music is playing too !
Attached !

Here is a licecap of me dropping 2 sets of 2 env points 5ms apart (using my "i" key) and using mousewheel (Ctrl+Alt+Mousewheel) to easily raise and lower that segment. I hope you find it as useful as I do. I do this on the fly while in playback mode and it's super fast.

Ha ha, don't you worry, you're not the first person in the world to do that (he says, looking into the mirror)
