By default, EZD installs to c:\\Program File\Steinberg\vst plugins. You need to tell Reaper where this folder is located. This is done in the VST area under Preferences.

Oops!
Sorry!

You need to be sure they are installed to:
/Library/Audio/Plugins/VST

I had a hard time getting EZD to show up in Reaper OSX. I do not know what I did, but they eventually appeared.

I thought EZDrummer didn't install either, but i just missed it in the list.

Try the nifty filter at the bottom of the FX box when adding a new FX.
just type "dfh" and it should show in the list pretty much as Socket mentioned.

VSTi: Dfh Sampler (Toontrack) (16 out)

Also make sure ezdrummer shows up in;
Library/audio/plugins/components/EzDrummer.components

as well as
Library/audio/plugins/vst/EzDrummer.vst
as imott mentioned

where is the ezdrummer demo? i am not seeing it on toontrscks site?

my current favorit drum demo is addictive's because what little they give you is pretty good and it has no sonic interruptions.

Default EZ grooves

You can drag the grooves from the EZD player/UI onto your desktop, then import them into reaper, just not directly into the arrange window yet.

multi outs for EZD may not be configured at this early stage of Reapers mac version.

Where can I get this preset? I'm also having a hard time trying to setup EzDrummer with multi-channels.

Am I doing something wrong?

I'm having this exact problem having bought a Padkontrol so will have a look at the help here to see if I can get it working.

Can people confirm they have got this working with the current preview version of Reaper?

Default EZdrummer Problem

I know that this thread is here since like forever but I still cannot figure out...

when I insert the:

AUi: Toontrack EZdrummer

i get this message:

Build Routing Errors
"Could not get channel info for effects (are they multichannel?)"

When I load the:

VSTi: Dfh Sampler (Toontrack)

I have no errors but I dont see my EZdrummer loading.

I am using MacBookPro if that helps.

Shouldn i see something like VSTi: Toontrack EZdrummer ???? There is no such thing in there.

Please give me a hand right here cuz I am gonna get crazy with this! :-(

Thank you very much!
