Default Fabfilter Pro-L 2 Losing Bits?

Basically threw up a bit meter on the master fader and realized my limiter wasn't working at 64 bits. Not particularly bothered, but no other plugin affected the range to that extent. See the gif below (also for the love of all that is holy I couldn't manage to add a gif here).

Win10x64, Reaper 6.45 64-bit, 64-bit install of the Fabfilter Pro-L 2.

Is anyone familiar with this issue? I haven't installed either VST2 or AAX-versions when installing the plugin.

Lots of plugins process at 32 bits only. Unless you have reason to think this one is supposed to be processing at 64 bits, this is probably the expected behavior.

(You probably already know, but the bitness of the plugin/OS isn't related to the bitness of the audio processing.)

Of course, and I've emailed Fabfilter to see whether that's the case. I was just shocked to see half the bits disappearing.

Yeah, just trying to provide all the info before anyone requests it.
